Your Next Opportunity:

As our next Business Development Manager, you will be stepping into a dynamic role that opens doors to endless possibilities. With a focus on driving revenue growth, fostering strategic relationships, and expanding our partnership base, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our complex. Utilising your exceptional business acumen, you will identify new market opportunities, cultivate key relationships, and craft innovative strategies to enhance our market presence.

Your role will have a focus on conferences and events, where you’ll leverage our exceptional facilities and service offerings to identify new opportunities for partnerships with organisations throughout NSW and beyond. 

Core duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and implementing a strategic sales plan to target corporate clients, event organisers, and industry associations
  • Cultivating and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including local businesses, event planners, and industry influencers, to expand our network and drive referrals
  • Leveraging the local events calendar to proactively seek new opportunities to collaborate and secure event-related business
  • Travelling throughout Sydney as required to meet with key partners or to build strategic relationships

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

To be considered for this role, you will need a minimum of five years of progressive experience in similar roles that saw you fostering strategic relationships and driving revenue in the hospitality and/or events sector.

Critical to your continued success with us will be your strategic mindset, your highly developed communication skills (both written and verbal), and your entrepreneurial mindset. Your creative approach to sales and business development will ensure we leave no stone unturned in the pursuit of mutually beneficial opportunities, and your continued resilience will be vital to the longevity of our conferences and events portfolio.
